Never Stop Praying

Jesus gave us directions on how to pray He tells us that we do not have make a theatrical poem. We are talking to Him and not anyone else, talk to Him do not try to brag you don’t have to explain too much, after all He knows you. Just talk to Him like He is your best friend.

“Work as if you were to live a hundred years, pray as if you were to die tomorrow.”  Benjamin Franklin

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

“This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.Matthew ESV 6:5-13

Like a Freind

When I pray I talk to God like I am talking to a friend He tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV Pray without ceasing. You do not have to go into a long drawn out speech a simple thank you Lord, help Lord, or you are awesome Lord will do. When you have more to ask just talk, He can hear you! When I talk to Him I start with Dear Heavenly Father, Others use Father God, still others start by saying Jesus it does not matter how you start as long as you pray.

While praying remember how would you talk to a friend; relaxed, with love, with respect? Remember he already knows what we need all we have to do is ask but he want us to: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.Philippians 4:6 ESV Believe that He will take care of you: James 1:5-6 ESV If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. It takes humility to ask for what we need, when we go in front of him with humility and respect he will be there with his arms wide open He loves you. In Jesus name Amen!

Pray Like Jesus Did!

“Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you.

For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them.

I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you.

Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me.

I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:1-26 ESV Pray that you get to know Him, pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ. Ask to understand the direction that He has given you an owners manual; the bible. Thank Him for all that He has done for you.

In an article Written by Scott Frothingham on October 24, 2019 on the site Healthline.com they researched the theory that it takes 30 days to form a new habit. What they found was interesting and came down too:

“It can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days for a person to form a new habit and an average of 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic. There’s no one-size-fits-all figure, which is why this time frame is so broad; some habits are easier to form than others, and some people may find it easier to develop new behaviors.
There’s no right or wrong timeline. The only timeline that matters is the one that works best for you.”

We created a 90 day prayer and reading journal that will help create one of the best habits anyone could have. Reading our Bibles and praying. This Prayer Journal is a one of a kind asset to those who want to get closer to God. Record your morning prayers, what you read, and what it’s saying to you. Additionally, there is an area to record evening prayer, Bible reading, and devotions. At the end of the day, you can record one thing that you are grateful for.

We have found that having a schedule that focuses on prayer and Bible reading helps us gain a relationship like we have never had before. Writing down one thing every day that we are grateful for also helps us value the treasures we do not always appreciate.

With this 90 day Prayer Journal, we have included verses that focus on prayer and help us see and realize how much He wants to hear from us.Hardcover for Durability
