So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Jesus exposes the danger of outward righteousness that hides inward corruption. Matthew 23:28 warns that religious appearance can mask hearts far from God. True faith is not about impressing others, but being transformed within. Ask God to cleanse motives, not just behavior. Let integrity replaces performance, humility replaces hypocrisy, and obedience flows from a heart genuinely surrendered to Him. When God renews the inside, authentic righteousness naturally shows on the outside.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
