In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved in various trials, that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ 1 Peter 1:6–7
Faith that lasts isn’t built in comfort, it’s forged in fire. The trials we live have a way of exposing what we truly believe, not just what we say. When life heats up, weak foundations crack, but genuine faith grows stronger. Just like gold is purified by fire, God uses pressure to help refine your trust in Him. You may feel overwhelmed, stretched, or uncertain, but this moment is not pointless. God is shaping something eternal in you. Your struggle is not a setback; it’s a setup for deeper faith. The fire you’re in today is producing a strength that comfort never could.
