Written by The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
In this verse we see that when darkness presses in, fear tries to convince you it’s bigger than your future, stronger than your faith, and closer than God. But it reminds us that the Lord is our light and salvation, meaning His presence exposes fear for what it truly is: powerless in His glory. Light doesn’t fight darkness; it simply overcomes it. When you draw near to God, fear begins to shrink, lose its voice, and fade away. You don’t have to defeat fear alone, just step into His light, and watch it disappear.
