Hebrews 12:11

training

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

This reminds us that God’s discipline is rarely pleasant in the moment, but it is always purposeful. Correction shapes character and produces lasting righteousness. When hardship feels heavy, remember God is training, not punishing. Trust His loving hand. Growth often comes through discomfort, and obedience forged in difficulty yields peace, maturity, and a deeper confidence in God’s faithful care.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
