I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
This reminds us that Christ builds His church, not human strength or strategy. Founded on the truth of who Jesus is, the church stands secure against every attack. Darkness may oppose, but it cannot prevail. Take courage, your faith is part of something eternal. Stay faithful, stand firm, and trust that Christ is actively building His kingdom through obedient, trusting lives, even in uncertain times.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
