Psalm 2:4-6

Riot

He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath: “Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”

While nations rage and human power schemes, God remains unshaken and sovereign. He is neither threatened nor anxious. The Lord reigns, and His purposes stand firm. This passage calls us to rest in God’s authority rather than fear in worldly turmoil. When chaos seems loud and control feels lost, remember: God is still on the throne. Trust His rule, submit to His current king He has place, and live with confidence knowing history moves according to His will, not human ambition.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
