A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
The defining mark of true discipleship: love modeled after Christ. Jesus doesn’t call us to ordinary affection, but to sacrificial, visible love that reflects His own. This kind of love speaks louder than words or doctrine alone. When believers love well, patiently, humbly, faithfully, the world takes notice. Ask today how Christ’s love can be shown through you. Our love for one another becomes a living testimony that Jesus is real, present, and transforming lives through grace.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
