Recognizing the Noise

Scripture: John 16:33

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Devotion:
Have you ever noticed that fear will only grow louder when we live constantly connected to the noise of this world. Watching the News, the differing opinions, and the endless updates can quietly shape our hearts more than we realize. If we read the red letters in the Bible we can see that Jesus never promised a trouble-free life. However, He did promise victory while walking through it when in the middle of it. Peace begins when we understand that the noise around us does not have the final word Christ does.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, please help me recognize the voices that stir fear in my heart. Help me block out the noise and teach me to listen more closely to Your voice of truth and peace. Thank you for being my guide. In Jesus Name Amen
