Trusting God With What You Can’t Control

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5–6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

Devotion:
Have you ever noticed that the majority of our fear comes from trying to control outcomes? God never meant for to manage these things that freak us out causing this fear. Trust grows when we surrender the illusion of control and confidently placing our confidence in God’s wisdom. Peace comes from trust and faith, not assuredness.

What are you trying to control that needs to be surrendered?

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for always being the light when I need to see what is going on. Lord, I release control and choose to trust You with what I cannot change. In Jesus Name Amen
