Scripture: Psalm 56:3
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”
Devotion:
By itself fear is not sin it is a signal. Fear will get us into something that feels uncertain or out of our control. The main problem is not feeling fear, but following it. David never pretend fear didn’t exist; he redirected it toward trust. Today, let fear become a reminder to turn your attention toward God instead of inward toward overwhelming worry.
Something to think about
When fear shows up in your life, what does it usually push you toward trusting God or trying to handle things on your own?
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being a guide when everything seems to be falling apart. When fear rises, remind me to turn toward You, not away from You. In Jesus Name Amen
