1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God’s forgiveness is sure and faithful. When we confess, He does not hesitate—He cleanses and restores. Shame loses its power in the light of His mercy. Today, come honestly before God. Freedom begins with confession, and renewal follows as grace washes you clean and makes you whole again.

Dear Heavenly Father, be my guide and protect me from these things that surround me that I do not understand or that influence me in ways that are not from You. Lord I want to be and act as close to You as You’ve always wanted Your children to be. Lord give the strength to stand against the evil in this world, the distractions and influences. Help me to not fear and worry about these issues that continue to affect everything around us. Thank you Lord for Your protection, direction, and love. In Jesus Name Amen

The Danger of Untested Teaching

Not everything labeled “Christian” is Christ-centered. Scripture: Matthew 7:15, Colossians 2:8 The warning Jesus gave us about false prophets is notable because of how they appear. He told us that they come in sheep’s clothing, meaning they look safe,…

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. God warns us…

Testing the Message, Not the Mood

Feelings can be powerful, but they are never meant to replace truth. Scripture: Jeremiah 17:9, 2 Timothy 3:16 One of the greatest challenges a Christian faces in discerning truth today is learning the difference between what feels right and…

Why Discernment Is an Act of Love

Biblical discernment is not about criticism it is about protection. Scripture: 1 John 4:1, Ephesians 4:14 When most people hear the word discernment, they will immediately associate it with criticism, negativity, or judgment. Our culture says it values tolerance…

1 Corinthians 13:1-13, The Way of Love

hearts

If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part;  but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.

First Corinthians 13 reminds us that love is the measure of true spirituality. Gifts, knowledge, and sacrifice mean nothing without love. God’s love is patient, kind, and enduring, calling us to reflect His heart in every relationship. Love chooses humility over pride and perseverance over irritation. It does not keep score or seek control. When life is noisy with opinions and achievements, love remains the lasting truth. Today, ask God to reshape your actions and motives through love. Let His love guide how you speak, serve, forgive, and endure, knowing that faith and hope stand strong, but love never fails.
