Colossians 2:14

Bible open to Colossians

wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.

In this verse, Paul reveals the power of Christ’s sacrifice, our record of sin, the debt we could never repay, was canceled and nailed to the cross. Every accusation, every failure, and every guilt was taken away through Jesus. What once stood against us has been removed completely. This verse reminds us that we no longer live under condemnation, but in freedom. Through the cross, Jesus didn’t just forgive sin, He erased its charge, giving us a new beginning rooted in grace and victory.
