But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
God calls His people to endurance, not retreat. When fear, suffering, or weariness tempt us to pull away, this verse reminds us who we are, those who believe and are saved. Faith perseveres because God is faithful. Hold fast today. Trust Christ in uncertainty, choose obedience over comfort, and keep moving forward. Your faith is not wasted; it is shaping your soul for life.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
