Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me. I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done.
This is a declaration of God’s absolute sovereignty over history. He alone knows the end from the beginning, and nothing thwarts His purposes. When the world feels unstable or your future uncertain, this passage anchors faith in God’s unchanging authority. He is not reacting, He is ruling. Trust His plans even when you cannot see them. Remembering who God is brings peace: His counsel stands, His will prevails, and His promises never fail.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.
