In this Jesus reminded His followers that their relationship with Him began with His choice, not their own. Before you ever sought Him, He lovingly chose and called you for a purpose. You are not an accident, overlooked, or without value in God’s kingdom. Christ has appointed you to bear fruit that lasts, fruit of faith, love, obedience, kindness, and a life that points others to Him. This verse is a powerful reminder that God has a divine assignment for every believer. As you walk with Him daily, trust that He will equip you to fulfill His purpose and answer prayers that align with His will.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing and calling me to be one of your children. Help me bear lasting fruit that glorifies You and blesses others. In Jesus Name Amen.
