Stay away from it!

Abstain from every form of evil.

Dear Heavenly Father, be my guide and protect me from these things that surround me that I do not understand or that influence me in ways that are not from You. Lord I want to be and act as close to You as You’ve always wanted Your children to be. Lord give the strength to stand against the evil in this world, the distractions and influences. Help me to not fear and worry about these issues that continue to affect everything around us. Thank you Lord for Your protection, direction, and love. In Jesus Name Amen

Honorable

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Hope

“My hope lives not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner for whom Christ died; my trust is not that I am holy, but that being unholy, HE is my righteousness. My faith rests not upon what I am or shall be or feel or know, but in what Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is now doing for me. Hallelujah!” Charles Spurgeon

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that great is Your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22–23). You go before us and You are with me; You will never leave me nor forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:8).

Nothing that is ahead is hidden from You. Lord, I commit this year to You, I am trusting You with all my heart and leaning not on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5–6). I acknowledge that all of my plans are subject to Your will, and I say with humility, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that” (James 4:15). Order my steps according to Your Word (Psalm 119:133).

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). Transform me by the renewing of my mind, so that I may discern what is good, pleasing, and perfect in Your will (Romans 12:2). Let Your Word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path in every decision I face (Psalm 119:105).

We ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Heal the brokenhearted and bind up my wounds (Psalm 147:3). Teach me to forgive as I have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and to walk in love, just as Christ loved (Ephesians 5:2).

Prepare me for every season this year brings. When trials come, help me to count it joy, knowing You are producing endurance in me (James 1:2–4). When blessings come, keep me humble and thankful, remembering that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17).

I will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that what I need will be provided (Matthew 6:33). I dedicate this year to You, asking that my life will bring You glory in all that I do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

I pray this with confidence in the name of Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). In Jesus Name Amen.

Psalm 46:1-11

volcano

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Fearless

Fearless

There is no need to be afraid you have a warrior by your side, Jesus Christ. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Joshua 1:5

Strength

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

No Fear

“Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 16-17

What does the Bible say about Jesus Return? Victory Through Jesus Christ

Victory Through Jesus Christ

Genesis 3:15: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

Hebrews 2:14-15 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

Isaiah 53:3-4 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

Colossians 2:15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

Psalm 72:17 May his name endure forever, his fame continues as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed!

One Step at a time

Finally, do not get discouraged. Even when it seems like you’re surrounded by chaos and tribulation, never forget Jesus has already overcome the world. Pray, fix your eyes on the hope of eternal life, and lean on your trusted group of believers for support. May God grant you peace, strength, and hope as you walk through this difficult season. Amen.

What should we do with Chaos?

Girl Worrying

Why

Right now there is so much going on it seems like most of us are going through some kind of difficulty. Because of this we can start to feel surrounded by chaos and tribulation, overwhelmed and making so we can not see a way out. Some of us have health issues, financial problems, family issues, or relationship troubles. Even though it seems like you can’t breathe, I would like to motivate you to hold on to your faith in Jesus Christ.

To begin with;

We’ve been told by Jesus in John 16:33, “In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” These words may seem like a weird proposition – how can we suffer and take heart at the same time? We need to always remember that Jesus has already overcome the world all its chaos, trouble, disappointment and tribulation. He did this for us. He has already won this battle.

Hold the Line

So how can we hold on to this victory when we feel like we’re surrounded by chaos and tribulation? The First thing we need to do is to turn to God in prayer and seek His peace. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Always remember that when we give our worries and troubles to God in prayer, He promises to give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.

This is not your Home

Always remember that our hope is not in this world, but in Christ. Romans 8:18 says, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” When we look to the hope of eternal life we receive through Jesus, the struggles of this world are short lived and pale in comparison.

We all Need Friends/Family

find a community of believers for support. This is a  needed help and support system. Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” We were never meant to go through trials alone. When we share our struggles with our brothers and sisters in Christ, we allow them to come alongside us and offer support, encouragement, and prayer.

Amen.
