John 15:13

US Military

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

Greater love is shown through sacrifice. Jesus defines true love not by words, but by laying down one’s life for others. John 15:13 calls us to selfless devotion, choosing courage, service, and obedience. Love deeply, give generously, and reflect Christ’s sacrificial heart in everyday actions, big or small.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.

sharing

But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Doing good and sharing what we have pleases God. Hebrews 13:16 reminds us that worship extends beyond words into generous action. Every act of kindness becomes a spiritual offering. Live open-handed, love practically, and trust God to use your generosity to reflect His grace and meet real needs daily.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.

Colossians 1:15–20

manger
manger

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.

He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him, and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.

These verses lift our eyes to the supremacy of Christ. Jesus is not only Savior but Creator, Sustainer, and Reconciler of all things. Everything holds together in Him, and through His cross, peace is made. When life feels chaotic or divided, remember who is in control. Center your faith, worship, and obedience on Christ alone, the One who reigns over creation and restores what is broken.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.

John 3:16–17

earth

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

These verses reveal the heart of God, love that gives, not condemns. God sent His Son not to crush a broken world, but to rescue it. Salvation flows from belief, not perfection. When shame whispers condemnation, remember this truth: God’s desire is restoration. Receive His love, trust His Son, and live free in the grace that saves, heals, and transforms hearts forever.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.

John 1:1–14

jesus
jesus

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it.

There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light. The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

This passage reveals the miracle of God stepping into our world. Jesus, the eternal Word, became flesh to bring light into darkness. He was not distant, but present, full of grace and truth. Though many rejected Him, all who receive Him are made children of God. Let this truth deepen your wonder, strengthen your faith, and inspire gratitude. God came near so we could truly know Him and live in His light.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me from deception and ground me in your truth. Help so that I do not believe everything that makes me feel good. Help me to always be able to discern what is truth and what is deceptive. In Jesus Name Amen.

So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Psalm 90:12 invites us to live with awareness that time is a gift. Numbering our days shapes our priorities, humbles our pride, and sharpens our obedience. When we remember life’s brevity, we seek wisdom, not distraction, and invest each day in what honors God and lasts forever.
