A San Diego County judge on Friday sentenced a Rancho Bernardo man convicted of possessing an illegal cache of weapons to probation instead of prison. A jury recently found Neal James Anders, 47, guilty on multiple criminal counts, including possession of destructive devices. Prosecutors had sought a four-year state prison sentence. Instead, Judge Lisa Rodriguez ordered Anders to serve two years of probation, including 365 days of house arrest. He was also ordered to pay more than $3,000 in fines and is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
