Call on Him praying and worshiping always. When you pray and worship you are talking to and praising God Himself. You know how much you appreciate it when those who you love talk to you and validate that you exist. Thinking about it in this perspective it gives a little insight into the relationship that is being built when doing both of these. Get to know Him, you will not regret it!

God’s Direction

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:24 ESV

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being there for me. Thank you for the support and the strength that You have given me. Thank you for getting me through the tough times and being with me during the good times. In Jesus Name Amen

Freedom’s Use

Embrace Freedom

There are times when we get comfortable in the freedom that’s been given to us. Sometimes with out realizing it our focus gets turned to ourselves. We don’t always know what’s best. We forget all that God has done, is doing, and will do. We make decisions that do not take into account what is best in God’s eyes. Instead it is what enhances our agenda. Embrace the freedom that’s been given to you by God. Let go of self. When you control everything it can become overpowering. When you turn it over to God the peace is awesome. Let God guide every foot step so that the path ahead is sure and true never having to worry about a cover up.

God’s Direction

Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 1 Peter 2:16 ESV

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I give all of this to you, Lord, I am on my knees. Give me the direction you want me to go, block my input so that I will only see what You want. Light the way and make it so bright that I can see and not doubt. Lord take the scales off of my eyes so that I will see through unfettered eyes. I am Yours, Lord, use me for what You need to accomplish. In Jesus Name Amen

Let Go

In God’s Hands

We seem to have a lot of “stuff” that controls our actions. Have we ever asked ourselves if it’s truly what God wants or is it our own ambitions guiding the path we’re traveling. I can tell you that I sometimes convince myself that my personal wants are from God but if I truly take a look I realize I’m doing it out of a motive that had nothing to do with God but everything to do with my own gratification. I know that it is hard to let someone else take the wheel. Through experience I have learned that when I let Him take control of things are always better. Not always smooth or for that matter easy, but always has been the right thing in the end.

Always Trust Him

“Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Luke 22:42 ESV

Prayer

Distractions

Distracted Squirrel

In the world today there are so many #distractions. There is always something that takes you away from getting to the point you need to be. These distractions will take you away from simple stuff like house work, a job, family and so much more. Sometimes it’s temptation; someone that you are interested in that you should not even consider, or porn (which supports #humantrafficking) a purchase that you do not need, or even a new and better way to believe. You might be listening to people who are telling you what you should be or even how you cannot do it, you know “you’re not good enough”, He tells you that you are: 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 ESV. People/yourself telling you that you’re dumb, you’re weak, or you do not fit societies “norm”. These distractions that we have put in front of our path are road blocks that the devil uses to stop us from getting rid of the “stuff” that needs to go!

The definition of Distraction: a state of mental uncertainty, a state of wildly excited activity or emotion, the act or activity of providing pleasure or amusement especially for the public (Social Media), someone or something that provides amusement or enjoyment.

Stop the distractions with these steps that God told us to do: Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27 ESV So ask yourself what is causing the uncertainty to complete the task in front of you? Is there something that is “Waxing your ego” causing a interruption? Do you sit down in front of a screen and the next thing you know you have lost 2 hours of your time? If it is distracting you through it in the garbage move on and don’t look back! No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV God’s #gotyourback all you need to do is #trust Him and #moveforward. Make the #move and know that what’s behind you stays there it is not worth your time, invest your time in something that is worth it!
