You do not have to dig ditches

A comment that I hear all the time “I am a good person why do I need Jesus to be a better person?” Just being a good person does not mean that you have been forgiven it means that you are an awesome kind-hearted individual that still sins. Jesus came to this earth to forgive our sins, no one is perfect and we have all sinned no matter who you are. If you were perfect your name would be different and you would not be here. All of us as human beings can improve ourselves! We need to stop digging ditches and ask God into our lives, through His sacrifice He will make us the best human beings that we can be.  But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,  whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior. ^{Titus 3:4-6}
