God wants to know us on a personal level he yearns to be our friend John 15:15 “I have called you friends” When we become one of his friends we then fall under his protection Jeremiah 29:11-14 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord”. Through his love he sends you help through the holy spirit and his angels Hebrews 1 14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? He loves us so much that he gave his only son so that we will be saved John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned
