Even the strongest believers grow tired. Faith does not remove exhaustion, it gives us strength to keep going when our strength is gone. God does some of His deepest work in us during the seasons when we feel the most worn down.
Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16
There are seasons when the body feels exhausted and the heart grows weary. This verse reminds us not to lose heart. Though our outer strength fades, God is quietly renewing our inner life day by day. Being tired does not mean God has left you; most times it means you have been faithfully pressing on. Being tired doesn’t disqualify you from God’s plan. Bring your fatigue honestly before the Lord. Let His presence restore your spirit. Even when you feel drained, God is still strengthening what matters most, your faith, your hope, and your eternal perspective.God is renewing your spirit. He tends to work best through people who know they need Him. Endurance grows when we depend on God’s strength, not our own.
Thought to Ponder:
Invite God into your weakness today.
Journal Prompt
Reflect on a time recently when you felt physically, emotionally, or spiritually tired. What was weighing on you at that moment? Write about how God may be using this season to renew your inner strength. What would it look like to surrender your exhaustion to Him and trust Him to restore your heart day by day?
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, renew my spirit when I feel worn out and weak. Lord, help me get a deep renewing rest. Help me to see You through the fog that exhaustion creates. In Jesus Name Amen
