The Spirit Gives Strength

So what is Strength?

The definition of strength is: the capacity of an object or substance to withstand great force or pressure.

So what does God tell us?

The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. Exodus 15:2 KJV

So when God tells us that He is our strength we know that it’ll be alright.

There seems to be something going on everywhere we turn. The division that has become an expected normal. The violence that appears to have gasoline being pored on it, always keeping it going. The lies that are getting told and accepted as truth. It feels like we are in a flood with our heads under the water not being able to breathe. Never forget God is there to help you walk through everything that is going on. No matter if it is around the world or if it is your personal life He has your back.

What God Says

It Has To Stop

There seems to be something going on everywhere we turn. The division that has become an expected normal. The violence that appears to have gasoline being pored on it, always keeping it going. The lies that are getting told and accepted as truth. It feels like we are in a flood with our heads under the water not being able to breathe. Never forget God is there to help you walk through everything that is going on. No matter if it is around the world or if it is your personal life He has your back.

What God Says

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. Romans 16:17 ESV

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I feel like I am surrounded by so much uneasiness, there seems to be turmoil every place I turn. Lord I need You. Fight for it

We’re going to have times in our lives that everything around us is making us feel surrounded like we cannot breath. Do you realize that you are a child of the creator of everything. You, through Him have overcome this stop listening to the whispers, the negative people, even yourself. Have faith understand it’s done you’ve overcome the “stuff” DON’T let it come back fight it you’ve got this He is there with you walking beside you.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 ESV

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44 ESV

Manipulation

Satan prompts men to excesses by which they murder themselves and others, while what he puts into the mind tends to ruin men’s souls. He is the great promoter of falsehood of every kind. He is a liar, all his temptations are carried on by his calling evil good, and good evil, and promising freedom in sin. He is the author of all lies; whom liars resemble and obey, with whom all liars shall have their portion for ever. The special lusts of the devil are spiritual wickedness, the lusts of the mind, and corrupt reasonings, pride and envy, wrath and malice, enmity to good, and enticing others to evil. There are so many views about the bible, Christ, God and how we should believe or not believe. This has so much to do with how our brains process those things that have happened in our live or throughout history; “psychology”. Those things that have happened in our lives will continually change the view for how we process things. It can be used to manipulate people into believing whatever they are trying to convince themselves and others to believe. There are so many different points of view in the world today; some do not even know that they are being influenced. If we understand what we are told in the bible: And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 NIV and remember Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 ESV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 NIV The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 When we really think about how the devil tries every way he can to deceive us than we can grasp how important it is to read and know the owner’s manual that God has given us. Just by spending ten minutes a day in the bible we can understand the “good news” that Jesus has for us and help us not be misled.

The things of this life will be taken away from us, at the furthest, when we shall be taken away from them; but nothing shall separate from the love of Christ, and a part in that love. One day Jesus was at one of His followers houses Martha, she went through her house and made it presentable was she waiting on her guests so that everything was perfect; we all do this when we have company over. Could you imagine how much you’d do if you know that Jesus was stopping by. Mary, Martha’s sister, was there and sitting by Jesus listening to every word that He said. This irritated Martha that her sister would not even help her so much so that she interrupted Jesus and said “it’s not fair tell her to help me” (Luke 10:40 ESV) Jesus the good shepherd and teacher He is; did not rebuke Martha because she interrupted Him. He did not stand up and look at Mary yell at her and tell her to get up and help Martha. Instead He said, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.” Luke 10:41-42 TPT Sometimes the distractions, busyness, and the fear will keep us from seeing what Jesus is trying to tell us. With everything that is going on right now have you been distracted worried about things and allowing it to pull you away from those things that are important. Right now it sucks because of all that is going on, but this will pass. Have you taken the time to look at what is most important? Take some time and “sit at Jesus feet” His direction will never let you down .

What is the fastest way to cause fear, anxiety, loneliness, confusion or any one of the feelings that cause some kind of emotional response? With confusion we are led head first into a storm of feelings that if fed will burn out of control like a wildfire. The devil is like a conductor in a symphony; he has had years to perfect how he guides those he controls and deceives. The devil likes to keep us distracted he’s been doing it since time began, all the way back to the garden of Eden. The devil likes to use things like; “yeah but (garden of Eden Genesis 3), if I (Job 1), if you (Matthew 4) whatever he can use to take your eye off of what is important the devil will use. Remember even the devil disguises himself as an angel of light 2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV When we realize that we understand how much, if we do not keep our eye on God, can be directed into this confusion storm that we put ourselves in.
