Deceived

Did you Hear that?

When we look around we can, if we are paying attention, we will come to the conclusion that most of what we hear now is deceitful and is used to fulfill an agenda. “Fake News” It’s in all aspect of our lives, school, politics, friends, family, and even church. We have been warned about this is in the bible that this point of view is not to be dismissed. We have been told multiple times that there will be many that will come to deceive us and that many more will believe the lies.

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 John 1:7 ESV

The Goal

The devil’s goal has always been to keep us apart from what God is doing, what God wants done, and everything God has completed. Using deception and human wants and needs the devil has injected himself into the foundational truths of society.

Why

Why are Christians falling for it? It’s understandable when people who do not Christ fall for the deception. But why are Christians falling for this trickery, we need to understand that the devil has had thousands of years to perfect his deceitfulness and he’s  gotten so good at doing it. He has gotten comfortable selling his lies because he presents what we want to hear.

We have been deceived by the master deceiver and have bought into the deception: And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light ^{2 Corinthians 11:14 WEB} The devil is arrogant, so arrogant that he even thought he could tempt and deceive Jesus in the wilderness.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to see this deceitfulness that has been presented as truth. Please give me the strength to help fix it the way that You have always intended it to be.In Jesus Name Amen
