Written by After a line of storms moves through the state Tuesday morning, Minnesota will be left with another hot and humid day. Those storms started in southern Minnesota and are moving northeast. WCCO has issued a NEXT Weather Alert due to the potential for severe weather, including strong winds, hail and heavy rain. As of 5:20 a.m., the only impact in the Twin Cities has been rain in the west metro, though a severe thunderstorm watch is in place until 10 a.m.
