Cat owners know their feline friends often hide in small, cramped, and unusual spots — but one kitten’s hiding place recently required a fire crew to take part of a car apart. Southeast Thurston County Fire announced on social media this week that a kitten got stuck underneath the dashboard of a vehicle.
To free the trapped cat, firefighters had to disassemble the dashboard. “After some careful disassembly, a little patience, and a bit of firefighter ingenuity, crews were able to safely free the kitten and reunite it with its owner,” the post said. “We’re happy to report this rescue ended with one very small patient safely out of a very complicated hiding spot.”
