A mama bear and her two cubs are out of a tree after being stuck for 2 days. The Middlebury Police Department says a mama bear and her two cubs are stuck in a tree at the intersection of Main St. and N. Pleasant St. Police and Vermont Fish and Game asked people to avoid the area to give the bears more space. “These are wild animals that do not want to interact with people and will tend to stay in a tree longer if people are gathering in the area,” said police.
