Dear Heavenly Father; help me to see everything the way You see it Lord. I begin to feel sorry for myself convincing my mind that I am the only one that has gone through the things that I am going through, thinking that You have abandoned me Lord that You are disregarding me. Lord I am sorry all of these are issues in my mind that are making so I do not see all the great irrefutable things You have done for me. Lord eradicate these reservations that I allow to creep into my mind, surround me with all of Your fortifications not allowing these uncertainties to become part of my thoughts or part of my existence. In Jesus Name Amen
Have you ever had those moments, even weeks, where all you want to do is scream at God and say why; why are you doing this to me. I think if we are honest with ourselves we can all say yes, these times make us feel like God hates us. We need to remember God does not hate us He sent His son to save us from the ultimate punishment hell. When we feel like there is to much for us to bear start counting all of the good things that He has done for you and praise Him. When we praise God, setting our thought and mind on Him, we push out the thoughts of negativity and focus on God instead of focusing on ourselves it will change your mind set. We are not the only ones that have dealt with attacks Paul and David did also and this is what they told us: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 ESV Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14 ESV Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Psalm 34:19-20 ESV
Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh [and died for us], arm yourselves [like warriors] with the same purpose [being willing to suffer for doing what is right and pleasing God], because whoever has suffered in the flesh [being like-minded with Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [having stopped pleasing the world], so that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living for human appetites and desires, but [lives] for the will and purpose of God.1 Peter 4:1-2 AMP
