You may not have strength for tomorrow, but God promises enough grace for today. One step at a time, He will carry you forward.
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Feeling, saturated, overloaded and overwhelmed often comes from trying to carry tomorrow’s troubles, tensions, and worries today. God never asked or said that you need to do that. He instead invites you to trust Him daily. When your strength runs out, His strength begins. Waiting on God does not mean doing nothing, it means placing your hopes, your fears, and your doubt in His power instead of your own. Even the most weary people can rise again when God renews their spirit. Today, take a breath, meditate and focus and trust that God will provide exactly what you need for this moment.
Thought to Ponder: Am I relying more on my strength or God’s strength?
Journaling Prompt: List areas where you need God’s strength the most right now.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, renew my strength today. Help me stop striving alone and teach me to rest in Your power. Place me under Your wings and give me energy to take the next step and the one after that. Lord, place Your mighty army around me, those fiery chariots from 2 Kings 6:17 and allow them to fight those things that are trying to stop me from walking the path you want me to go. In Jesus Name Amen.
