Peace in the Storm

God does not always remove the storm immediately, but He promises peace in the middle of it. His presence calms fearful hearts.

 Bible Verse:
 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” John 14:27

When we are trying to manage life’s pressures it can create constant anxiety and fear. We need to understand Jesus offers a peace that our circumstances cannot steal. His peace is deeper than emotions and stronger than chaos. Even when everything around you feels uncertain, undetermined and unresolved, God remains steady and faithful. Peace comes from knowing you are held securely in His hands. You do not have to understand everything to trust Him. Today, let His promises quiet the noise within your heart.

 What would change if I truly believed God was in control?

Journal Prompt:
Write down the worries keeping you awake and pray over each one.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, calm my anxious heart. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give me peace and calm and help to always take the next step confidently knowing that You are there. In Jesus Name Amen.

Embracing Divine Help in Troubling Times

You don’t have to carry this alone, He is your safe place and your help in every moment of need.

 Bible Verse:
God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

God is your refuge when everything feels unstable. When your body is tired and your heart overwhelmed, His strength becomes yours.  When sickness overwhelms your body and fear grips your thoughts, God reminds you that He is not distant, He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Even when you feel weak, He is steady. When uncertainty, wariness, and unpredictability rises, He is your place of safety, defense, welfare, and protection. You may not control the diagnosis, but you are never alone in it. God steps into your fear, not just your faith, and He holds, and carries you while you are there.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Be my strength, power, and hardiness. Help me to see things through the lens that You see it. Lord help me to reject what others say is impossible because through you everything is attainable. Help me to manage everything that comes my way and always be my guide for the path that lays ahead. In Jesus Name Amen.

Finding Strength in God: Your Safe Haven
