A family is shelter from the storm, a friendly port when the waves of life become too wild. No person is ever alone who is a member of a family.

Always remember the best gift that you can ever give your family is an introduction to Jesus Christ. Use the examples that Christ has given us for the family we have been gifted with. Jesus laid down His life, John 3:16, so that His family, that’s you, was protected from the junk that the devil throws at us. Make sure the foundation your family is being built around is the love and direction of Jesus Christ. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Psalm 128:3 ESV Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5 ESV
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the family you have given me. From the start, I was given a dad and mom that looked to you. Through the example my grandparents gave I learned to love. It was not always smooth, sometimes just plain messy. But the family I had and have now is exactly what I wanted and could not do without. Thank you again. In Jesus Name Amen
