The Battle Within

Dear Heavenly Father, every day I struggle with the turmoil and fear of what is to come. I struggle daily while polishing my ego, fighting myself, thinking I always need more and never being satisfied with what You have given me. I am thankful for the gifts You have provided but I always want more. Please guide me Lord in the direction that You have established for me in Proverbs 16:9 we are told that In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Lord guide my steps down the path that You have laid down for me. In Jesus Name Amen

¹What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? ² You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. ³ When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.     James 4:1-3
