Bringing in 2020

Dear Heavenly Father, as I enter a new year and another decade please guide every foot step that I take. Show me how to be a light to everyone that needs it while helping me to see things the way You do. In Zechariah 2:5 ^(AMP) You tell Jerusalem that you will protect them: “For I, declares the Lord, will be a wall of fire around her [protecting her from enemies], and I will be the glory in her midst.” Lord put that wall of fire around me, my family, and friends giving us your almighty protection. As this new year and decade begin help me to recognize those who are trying to deceive me (Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. ^{1 John 4:1 ESV}) When presented with the many options that come my way show me Your ways so that I do not conform to this world (Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. ^{Romans 12:2 ESV}) Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. ^{Psalm 86:11 ESV} for you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me; ^{Psalm 31:3 ESV} Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. ^{Psalm 25:4-5 ESV} Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me. ^{Psalm 5:8 ESV} In Jesus Name Amen
