Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Zechariah 9:9 WEB

On the next day a great multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet him, and cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Psalm 118:25-26 the King of Israel!” Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written, “Don’t be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.”Zechariah 9:9 John 12:12-15 WEB

Did you know that the Old Testament in the bible contains enough prophesies about Jesus Christ that statistically it cannot be rationally explained without an overabundance of speculation? Over and over again in the Old Testament the prophets where instructed by God that the Messiah would come to be the King and be a sacrifice for our sins. We have been given this awesome opportunity to become part of His family, to be able to share the love and the protection that has been granted to us. He gave us free will to choose if we want to be with Him in heaven all you have to do is accept it. We will link together a number of these prophesies in the bible as we go. Always remember to read your bible so that you know that what is said here and anywhere else is from God and not from human input. Never believe what others say without testing their words we have been given a guide, the bible, that came from God Himself.
