They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it. Numbers 9:12 WEB

Therefore the Jews, because it was the Preparation Day, so that the bodies wouldn’t remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a special one), asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Therefore the soldiers came, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him; but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his legs. However one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe. For these things happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled, “A bone of him will not be broken.”Exodus 12:46Numbers 9:12Psalm 34:20 Again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they pierced.”Zechariah 12:10 John 19:31-37 WEB

Did you know that the Old Testament in the bible contains enough prophesies about Jesus Christ that statistically it cannot be rationally explained without an overabundance of speculation? Over and over again in the Old Testament the prophets where instructed by God that the Messiah would come to be the King and be a sacrifice for our sins. We have been given this awesome opportunity to become part of His family, to be able to share the love and the protection that has been granted to us. He gave us free will to choose if we want to be with Him in heaven all you have to do is accept it. We will link together a number of these prophesies in the bible as we go. Always remember to read your bible so that you know that what is said here and anywhere else is from God and not from human input. Never believe what others say without testing their words we have been given a guide, the bible, that came from God Himself.
