God Goes Before You

When taking the next step you are never alone.

 Bible Verse:
And the Lord who is your leader, he himself will be with thee: he will not leave thee, nor forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8

When you are surrounded by all of the chaos, the noise and you never seem like you are getting a break. You need to understand you are never walking into the unknown alone. God goes before you, not behind, you are never walking into the unknown alone, He’s preparing the way and guarding your steps. You are never abandoned or forgotten. When fear whispers and the road feels unknown, trust His presence. Move forward in obedience and confidence, knowing the Lord Himself walks with you, faithful, unchanging, and strong enough to carry you through every challenge. Direction is not about fear of the future but confidence in God’s presence.

Pray before making any decision today.

Journal Prompt:
 Where do I need to trust that God is already ahead of me?

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, remind me and show me You how you always go before me. Let me always see that you are the light in the darkness. Thank you Lord, I trust You. In Jesus Name Amen

The Servant King

Real leadership isn’t about power, it’s about serving like Jesus, even when it costs your pride. If you want to live out authentic Christian faith, start by lowering yourself and lifting others.

 Bible Verse:
 “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” — John 13:14

Jesus, knowing His authority and His destiny, chose to serve. Jesus modeled radical humility by washing His disciples’ feet, even the one who would betray Him. This was an act reserved for the lowest servant. By doing this, He redefines leadership in the Kingdom of God as service, not status. This radical humility reveals the heart of God. True greatness is not found in power, but in service. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His character. This powerful moment teaches that Christian leadership is rooted in serving others, putting pride aside, and living out faith through everyday acts of compassion and obedience. Easter reminds us that love serves, even when it’s inconvenient or undeserved.

Serve someone today in a practical, humble way without expecting recognition.

 Who can I serve today, and what is holding me back from doing it?

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, teach me to have a servant’s heart like Yours. Show me how to lay down pride and love others selflessly. Teach me to serve with humility, grace, and compassion. In Jesus Name Amen

In the Gospel of John verse 13:14, Jesus models radical humility by washing His disciples’ feet, an act reserved for the lowest servant.
