Dear Heavenly Father, Shine brightly and show me the path you want me to travel. Rebuke anything trying to attack me and steer me in the right direction, lighting the way for a great day. In Jesus Name Amen
John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 1:38 Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?”
Reading the bible this morning God gave me something that slapped me in the back of the head. Have you ever asked yourself why am I following Jesus? I know that with the awesome music that our fellow Christians have created has shown so many people who the lord is. I ask that you sit down and ask yourself am I following Jesus because he is the one and only savior that died for my sins or am I following Jesus because it is “cool”. “In the Life Application Study Bible” it gave me something to think about: Following Christ is not enough; we must follow him for the right reasons. To follow Christ for our own purposes would be asking Christ to follow us to align with us to support and advance out our cause, not his.
Dear Heavenly Father, Open my eyes to see what the path is that you want me travel. I know that you have said that the path to righteousness is narrow please guide my steps so that I do not trip and fall off of this path! In Jesus Name Amen
Dear Heavenly Father, Guide and protect me as I navigate this day. You are my light and protector; help me to proceed on your just and righteous path. Showing me the ways you want me to travel and giving me the words that I need. In Jesus name Amen
Psalm 23:4 Thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me.
Lord, Please help me to understand what you are trying to tell me. Guide me through these words and share with me what it is that I need to do. In Jesus name AMEN
This morning God put on my heart to share what he wants. People ask how should I believe, what should I follow, or what is real. The bible puts it best: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. If you want to know what you should do, sit down pray for guidance and pick up the bible. When you pray for guidance he will share with you what he wants you to do, how he wants you to do it, and when.
He has got this, don’t worry. Romans 8: 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Romans 8: 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate usfrom the love of Godthat is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Timothy: 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
What is a punk the Merriam dictionary says: a petty gangster, hoodlum, or ruffian. In the thesaurus words that are related: awful, brutal, damnable, deplorable, detestable, disastrous, dreadful, execrable, gnarly, horrendous, horrible, pathetic, stinky, sucky, terrible, unspeakable; defective, faulty, flawed; egregious, flagrant, gross; coarse, common, crappy, junky, lesser, low-grade, mediocre, miserable, reprehensible, rotten, rubbishy, second-rate, shoddy, sleazy, trashy; abominable, odious, vile; useless, valueless, worthless; inadequate, insufficient, lacking, mean, scanty, stingy; miscreant, villainous; counterfeit, fake, phony, sham
To begin with; when you read these words it is amazing how just one word truly defines what the devil is. In Revelation 12 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. In the bible it tells us exactly what Satan is doing right now 1 Peter 8 Be watchful and control yourselves. Your enemy the devil is like a roaring lion. He prowls around looking for someone to swallow up. You see the Devil is a lot like that kid that picked on you while you were in school, they were usually jealous of something that you had that they did not have. Well you have something that Satan does not have and that he can never get, Salvation through Jesus Christ. Satan was thrown out of heaven because he felt he was better than his creator, God. Isaiah 14 12 “King of Babylon, you thought you were the bright morning star. But now you have fallen from heaven! You once brought down nations. But now you have been thrown down to the earth! 13 You said in your heart, ‘I will go up to the heavens. I’ll raise my throne above the stars of God. I’ll sit as king on the mountain where the gods meet. I’ll set up my throne on the highest slopes of Mount Zaphon. 14 I will rise above the tops of the clouds. I’ll make myself like the Most High God. 15 But now you have been brought down to the place of the dead. You have been thrown into the deepest part of the pit. It was because of the Devils arrogance that he was thrown into the pit. Ezekiel 28 12 You were the model of perfection. You were full of wisdom. You were perfect and beautiful. 13 You were in Eden. It was my garden. All kinds of jewels decorated you. Here is a list of them. carnelian, chrysolite and emerald topaz, onyx and jasper lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl Your settings and mountings were made out of gold. On the day you were created, they were prepared. 14 I appointed you to be like a guardian angel. I anointed you for that purpose. You were on my holy mountain. You walked among the gleaming jewels. 15 Your conduct was without blame from the day you were created. But soon you began to sin. 16 You traded with many nations. You harmed people everywhere. And you sinned. So I sent you away from my mountain in shame. Guardian angel, I drove you away from among the gleaming jewels. 17 You thought you were so handsome that it made your heart proud. You thought you were so glorious that it spoiled your wisdom. So I threw you down to the earth. I made an example out of you in front of kings.
Second; with that said we need be diligent about reading or bible, when we are reading our bible we are spending time with Jesus. There are things in this world that look like the truth but are far from it. 2 Corinthians 11 14 Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. When we take somebodies word for what Jesus said to do, how do we know for sure that what they are saying is coming from God or from a more deceitful agenda. 2 Corinthians 11 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. In the bible it tells us to test all things. 1 John 4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. The more you become familiar with what the bible says the more you will know exactly what Gods will is for you Romans 12 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. This is why in Ephesians 6 17 The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. God tells us to know our bible so that we can cut out like a sword the deceptive garbage that the devil throws at you. The Devil has been around for a while and he has perfected a lot of ways to make us question the reality of God.
Finally; when you are with Jesus Christ he makes sure that you do not have to worry. 1 Corinthians 10 13God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. In this bible verse he says that you will be tempted but he will also provide you a way to bare the temptation. He will take care of you when the devil is trying to hurt and tempt you 2 Corinthians 11 12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. God does not appreciate those who try to hurt his children. In everything we do we need to put our faith in Jesus Christ first because Psalms 118 6 The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Throughout your life Satan will try everything to make you question if you should depend on God. The Devil will use everything he can to get you to turn away Jesus Christ using family, friends and life’s hardships. So always remember 1 Peter 5 9 Stand up to him. Remain strong in what you believe. You know that you are not alone in your suffering. The family of believers throughout the world is going through the same thing.
In conclusion; this is why I believe the word that best describes the Devil is PUNK. He wants everybody to take the path that he took. The saying “Misery Loves Company” could not be truer. God Bless You and have an awesome day!
Ephesians 6 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
God knows us better than we know ourselves, so when we need something who better to help then the one that truly knows us! Job 31 4 Does he not see my ways and count my every step?
What is anxiety? It is your worries, your fears, those things that concern you; more over it is apprehension. We as human beings like to be in control of everything; when we try to give just a little bit it freaks us out. 1 Peter 5: 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. When we do give it to god we think that it is not being taken care of fast enough. Then we will sometimes fall back but; 2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. When we lay our worries on Jesus and: 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. So because he is patient with us we need to return the favor. He wants to be there for us. Isaiah 30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! He yearns to know you: 1 Timothy 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. So remember he is waiting for you so listen to what he has to say, he will guide you in every matter that you come up against. Romans 2 :4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? You will be greatly blessed by his grace. Ephesians 1 :7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. The more we depend on him the more he will open up to us. He does not get upset with you he just wants to know you. Exodus 34 :6 “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. He will not let you down he will carry you through the misfortunes and troubles that you are going through. Psalms 55 :22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. As we start depending on him you will not have to worry. What you need will be there, sometimes it may not be what you want (1 million dollars) but it is always sufficient. Matthew 6: 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? When you stand in front of others that are trying to hold you down or telling you that you do not know what you are talking about or they are making you feel insignificant. He (Holy Spirit) will give you the words to say and comfort you when you need it. Luke 12: 11 “ do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” As we are going through the hardships that we have been dealt and the walls seem to be closing in on you pray. Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. When you listen to him nothing else matters. Hebrews 13: 5be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Be resilient Deuteronomy 31: 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Do not fret! Joshua 10: 25 “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the Lord will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.” Always remember God is always there he is everywhere! Even when it does not feel like he is around he is standing there with his hand out. Isaiah 41 :13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Why does Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? Why does God allow evil? God Punish me? These are all questions we have either heard or thought ourselves. So why God?
To answer why does God allow bad things to happen to good people. When he created us God made us without shame Genesis 2 25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. But because of the decisions that Adam and Eve made Genesis 3 6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. God had given Adam and Eve free choice1 and with this newly gained knowledge human beings made horrible choices that angered God. Genesis 6 5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” God still loved humans and found one person that still followed and was loyal to him his name was Noah. Genesis 6 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. 9 This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. The times that we live in now are becoming like the time of Noah and the time of Lot. Lot lived in Sodom and Gomorrah these towns were destroyed because of their evilness: Jude 1 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Right now we are making bad decisions we have lost our respect and reverence for God. But always remember none of us are perfect, if we were our name would be different and we would not be here! Romans 3 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God God sent Jesus to save us from ourselves. Jesus was the only person who was perfect, Jesus did not sin he was perfect! Hebrews 4 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. So to answer the question yes there are good people but none of us are perfect and with out sin.
God gives us the choice Revelations 3 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. However the evil that is in this world fights back trying to take this awesome choice God has given us. The devil puts it best Matthew 4 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” If you want what is in this world it is like bowing down and serving the devil.
Why does God allow evil?
Romans 3 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Yes there are good people here on earth but we all have done bad things. Sin is Sin, so to ask that question we assume that the “good” person is perfect. There is only one who did not sin, and he is our savior Jesus Christ.
Jeremiah 17 9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? 10 “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” When we do not accept Jesus Christ we will be judged for all the bad we do. Essentially Jesus is like the best lawyer you could ask for when he represents us we win. When Satan represents us we lose. When you decide to follow Jesus Satan will attack you in whatever matter it takes to make you question what is right. He will make you feel like bad decisions are good decisions and the good decisions are wrong. Matthew 4 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
Why does God punish me?
Never forget God does not punish those who believe in the sacrifice that he did for you. Romans 8 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Did you know that you can not pray to much? He wants you to tell him everything totally depending on him every day. 1 Thessalonians 5 16 Rejoice always,17 pray continually,18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
God is love! Ephesians 3:19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. God wants to know us on a personal level he yearns to be our friend John 15:15 “I have called you friends” When we become one of his friends we then fall under his protection Jeremiah 29:11-14 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord”. Through his love he sends you help through the holy spirit and his angels Hebrews 114 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? He loves us so much that he gave his only son so that we will be saved John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned
I hear a lot say that the bible was wrote thousands of years ago how is it significant to the time we live in now. Fact is that we are human beings and our human nature never changes. Sure they did not have an iPad, the latest kindle, or the best smart phone but they still had to deal with being afraid, wondering how they would live, and what others thought of them. That has never changed we are humans, Jesus came to earth so he could be an example for us. He showed us that it is possible even when we think it is impossible. HE UNDERSTANDS! Hebrews 2 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Some of my best memories were when my parents were extending out thier hand to comfort me, letting me know it was alright. Our Father in heaven does the same thing for us. He tells us in the bible that is there to comfort us and not to be afraid!Isaiah 41 13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
God does not lie, He does not tell stories; the bible is not a book of fairy tales! Time and time again throughout the bible He pleads for everyone to come to Him and get to know Him. When He has said it so many times, why do you question how important you are to Him? Joel 2 32 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved;
He is waiting for you to open the door He wants the invitation to come in! No matter who you are He is anticipating your welcome at the door! Revelations 3 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. 21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22Whoever has ears, let them hear
There is an old saying; I know that place, person, job or whatever you are talking about like the back of my hand. Did you know that God knows you so well that He knows even the hairs on your head. Matthew 10 30 Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. God is here for you and when you need anything who better to help you than someone who knows you better than you know yourself!
When I sat down and prayed this morning God gave me something profound to share. Many times Jesus said that He came for the sick not the healthy. So who are the sick? We all are! He wants to know all of us, He wants to help us be better people. He wants us all to come home and to be with Him in heaven, not just a few! We are all the same, “for all have sinned”, so knock on the door He will invite you in. Isaiah 42 6 “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make youto be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles,7 to open eyes that are blind,to free captives from prisonand to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
Matthew 6 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
When I pray I talk to God like I am talking to a friend. You do not have to go into a long drawn out speech a simple thank you lord, help lord, or you are awesome lord will do. When you have more to ask just talk, he can hear you! When I talk to him I start with Dear Heavenly Father, Others use Father God, still others start by saying Jesus it does not matter how you start as long as you pray. While praying remember how would you talk to a friend; relaxed, with love, with respect? Remember he already knows what we need all we have to do is ask. It takes humility to ask for what we need, when we go in front of him with humility and respect he will be there with his arms wide open. In Jesus name Amen!
With everything that is going on right now around the world. There has been a lot of people who claim they know when Christ is coming back to save us. This is something that is concerning. They each seem to be putting a time table when he is coming back, these are getting out of hand. As this keeps on happening people are getting disappointed because He has not returned. This is an unhealthy deception that is not supported by the bible. We read in Matthew 24: 36 & 44 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. In the bible it says that no one but the father knows when Jesus will return. It does tell us that we should:
Be Prepared: 2 Peter:3:10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. & 2 Peter 3:17-18Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Be Patient: 2 Peter 3:8-9But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Finally: do not listen to the naysayers and scoffers. 2 Peter 3:3-4Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
I have seen people give up on Christ because one person, who was being so convincing, said it will be within months. Some other teacher said He will return within the year and after hearing these prophesies over and over. When Christ does not come they get discouraged. Luke 17:23-24 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.
The best thing that we can do is to test these theories and to do what God told us to do in Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.God has given us a road map for us to follow, it is call the bible and he has given us every answer to the questions that we have.
If you pray for God to guide you before you start your search He will lead you to the answers that you need. So the question that I have; if the angels do not know and Christ does not know why then should we believe that someone on TV or the internet has been given special exception to know more than Christ?
But we know that from what the bible says, there is no doubt, Christ will be here soon Matthew 24:3-29 & 34 “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time. “Immediately after the distress of those days ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
But until then we have to continue to live our lives for Christ. If we throw our hands in the air because Christ has not returned, or we feel Christ should have returned already. I want you to know that the devil is trying to convince you that He has given up on us, trying to make you doubt. 2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. We should praise and thank Christ instead because He is waiting so He can save as many people as he can.
It could be your family, friends, coworkers or even your favorite speaker that is telling you. Remember only God knows when Jesus will return. I will always tell people it has gotten bad but it is going to get worse Luke 21:25-26“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
Finally, do not worry He is coming. Do not be upset when something that somebody has said does not come true because there is only one that knows, it is our Heavenly Father. There are many great teachers in this world and there will be prophesy 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
These people will share what they have been shown by the Holy Spirit. But do not be deceived by those claiming that they know when Christ is coming back; the signs are all around us that Christ told us to watch for. We all know He is close but He will “come like a thief in the night”. Live a life as Christ commanded and remember to love always!
