Why do we say we are like Jesus? We say we follow him and yet we do not love how he loves. We say we give but we do not give how he gives. We let fear and ego determine what our path is, he said that if we take his hand he will lead us. He said that when he is knocking if you answer the door he will come in and sit down with you. Jesus led by example. Time and time again he tells us what he wants us to do when you read the bible it is a road map and when you ask he will guide to what part of the map you need. It shows you how to love the way he loves, how to give the way he gives, and it will guide you on the path he wants you to walk.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to imitate who you are, how you act, and how you love. Assistance me so I can determine what is right and what is wrong Lord. There are so many things that look like they are right and good but are behind a deceptive mask that is fooling so many. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day! Please forgive these people that live to be cruel and unkind, Lord please help them to gain humility and have a heart for you. Dear Heavenly Father, as I get to know you more and more please help me to not become polluted with all of the distractions around me on a daily basis. I want to follow your true and pure path, the one that you intend for my life, as these troubles are thrown my way please help me to understand if they are truly to help me or if they are ways for the enemy to distract me from your purpose. Dear Heavenly Father, as I start my day help me to be as forgiving as you are Lord. Tolerant to others, remembering that I am no better than anybody else, and that we all sinned. Do you need a friend?
Jesus loves you and wants to have a close and personal relationship with you! He wants to help you when you are in times of need, he wants to comfort you when you feel down, and he wants to be there when you need someone to lean on. If you want this all you have to do is pray this prayer and you will get to know him better and have a friend for the rest of your physical and eternal life.
