Do you need help?

Do you want to get to know someone that does not judge you, has your back, will not persecute you, and will help you when you need it? Do you need a guide?

  • Here is what God says Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord”.

Do things in your past haunt you? Do you have things that you want to work out?

  • He says Acts 3:19 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord

Do you need a friend?

  • He says John 15:15 “I have called you friends”

Jesus loves you and wants to have a close and personal relationship with you! He wants to help you when you are in times of need, he wants to comfort you when you feel down, and he wants to be there when you need someone to lean on. If you want this all you have to do is pray this prayer and you will get to know him better and have a friend for the rest of your physical and eternal life.

Dear Jesus come into my life; I believe that through your love you died for me to cover my sins so I may have eternal life. Through faith in you and not by my actions or deeds you have given me this gift. I recognize you as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Jesus gave us directions on how to pray

Matthew 6 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

When I pray I talk to God like I am talking to a friend. You do not have to go into a long drawn out speech a simple thank you lord, help lord, or you are awesome lord will do. When you have more to ask just talk, he can hear you! When I talk to him I start with Dear Heavenly Father, Others use Father God, still others start by saying Jesus it does not matter how you start as long as you pray. While praying remember how would you talk to a friend; relaxed, with love, with respect? Remember he already knows what we need all we have to do is ask. It takes humility to ask for what we need, when we go in front of him with humility and respect he will be there with his arms wide open. In Jesus name Amen!

Pray

If you do not pray how will you get that personal relationship that he wants to have with you?

Philippians 4: 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests
1Thesilonians 5: 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks
These are just a few examples he wants you to talk to him; he will listen! The best thing about it is that he answers you.

He has our back!

When we depend completely on God he will take care of all of our needs. He is our protection, counselor and friend. He always looks out for our best interests. He will calm the fear and put a hedge of protection around us.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Philippians 4: 6-7
