Jesus is Coming the Prophesies

Did you know that the Old Testament in the bible contains enough prophesies about Jesus Christ that statistically it cannot be rationally explained without an overabundance of speculation? Over and over again in the Old Testament the prophets where instructed by God that the Messiah would come to be the King and be a sacrifice for our sins. We have been given this awesome opportunity to become part of His family, to be able to share the love and the protection that has been granted to us. He gave us free will to choose if we want to be with Him in heaven all you have to do is accept it. We will link together a number of these prophesies in the bible as we go. Always remember to read your bible so that you know that what is said here and anywhere else is from God and not from human input. Never believe what others say without testing their words we have been given a guide, the bible, that came from God Himself.

Dear Heavenly Father, give the words and knowledge to interact with everyone with boldness and without fear. In Jesus Name Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I will do my best to have humility always offering kindness to everyone. Continuously having a meek heart trying to understand every situation that surrounds me, with Your help and direction I will present myself as Your representative. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for everything that You have done for me. I will witness to others of how great of a provider You are, how You have always been my best friend, better than anyone could every ask for. You are the foundation that I can stand on that never gives out, You have always got my back even when I do not recognize what is going on You have never guided me down the wrong path. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being the best dad anyone could ever ask for. The sacrifices that You have given just for me is so impressively over the top I have few words to explain it. I only hope that when You call me to task that I will be willing to give the way You have! In Jesus Name Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, help me find the courage to plant the seeds that will create healthy fruit that will be acceptable to You. Lord be the light so that the seeds sown will grow and become suitable always knowing the direction that You want them travel. In Jesus Name Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I have done things in my life that make it impossible for me to comprehend the notion that you would forgive me. To have all of my sin forgiven, standing spotless in front of you guiltless and unblemished. Thank you for Your sacrifice so I am covered through the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name Amen

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will. Ephesians 1:4-5

Not Ashamed

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for the gift that You have given me; the suffering You endured so that I could be with you throughout eternity. Lord the kingdom that you have promised can only be created in my imagination, you’d think that it would be enough but as a human we still want more. Thank you Lord for having my back and always looking out for me! Because of all that You have done for me I will NEVER be ashamed to share the message and the freedom that You have for me and everyone I know. In Jesus Name Amen

 

I refuse to be ashamed of sharing the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”Romans 1:16-17

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for walking with me when everything seemed to immerse me and was hitting me the hardest. I felt like my head was under water never being able to take a breath. Thank you for taking me out of all of my hardships leading me to a better situation, showing me that there was actually dry ground. Thank you for being the light house I needed before I hit any jagged rocks. In Jesus Name Amen

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for guiding me through all of my daily routines the good and bad. I pray that I have the compassion and patience to be the light to others that need to know you. Give me the humility needed so that I may never raise a complaint against another. Help to always have the understanding to always love and forgive. In Jesus Name Amen

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Dear Heavenly Father, if I have ever came off and acted like You are a burden please forgive me. Lord the gift of life that You gave me through the sacrifice You ensured will always be an exception to anything that I may whine about. I know that sometimes I become selfish and think of nothing but the situation that I am in. When I do this Lord please remind me of how much I love You, I can never repay everything that You have done for me! In Jesus Name Amen

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-4

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to understand the awesome love that You hold. Lord please remind me when I am being arrogant, help guide me through any bitterness that I retain against anyone or anything. Lord help me to show everyone the love that You have shown me, thank you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen

 

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. Dear Heavenly Father, please help me maintain my urge to argue over things that do not matter. Please show me those things that do matter giving me the knowledge and empathy to present myself as one of your children standing steady on the foundation that You gave me. In Jesus Name Amen

 

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene. God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:14-19

Dear Heavenly Father, I trust You in everything Lord. The decisions I make, the direction I go, my daily interactions, in all I do. I know that You have my best interests in Your mind even though I do not know what they are. Lord I am not worthy of all that You have done for me yet You still take care of me every day. People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. Victory

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you Lord for helping me to overcome the rocky path I have just traveled. Thank you for showing me every step I should take so I did not stub my toe. I know that I do not always listen but You have never stopped guiding me in the right direction. Thank you for the victory that I can proclaim because of the love You have shown me. In Jesus Name Amen

When you feel like everything is falling apart take heart and know that everything will be taken care of. Jesus Christ told us: I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 Paul then further reminds us that: The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties. I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation. Romans 8:37-39Clearly, God has put everything under Christ’s authority.1Cor 15: 27 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Dear Heavenly Father, You have known me and all that I have done, and all that I am. You know the good, the bad, yet You still have given me Your Grace, sharing Your unconditional love with me. Thank you for the treasures that you have granted me in my life. The decline that I have allowed to transpire in my life needed and needs the Restoration that You give to me on a daily basis. The renovation that You completed in my life has been an awesome makeover beyond words. Thank you Lord; In Jesus Name Amen

Focused on a Date! Part 5 and Finale

Finally, we have been told that knowing the date or the time is not for us to know. When we are focusing on this it becomes a distraction that cannot for your sake and mine  be considered. We have been told that He is returning and that we should be prepared, knowing Him, following Him and being like Him. In Matthew 25:1-13 The Parable of the Ten Virgins we are given an example of what it looks like to be unprepared and how good it is to be prepared.  “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. 5 As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. 6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour. We have been told not to worry but that it will come like a thief in the night. We are told that we need to be prepared.

He is Waiting for You!

When the Lord pours out a remarkable spirit of prayer, it is a good sign that he is coming toward us in mercy. Promises are given to quicken and encourage prayer. He never said, Seek me in vain. Matthew Henry’s concise commentary

Dear Heavenly Father, be our guide showing us every step that we need to take. Give us the wisdom and hope that we need to see the future you have planned for us. Give us the heart to become seekers and the understanding to interpret the knowledge that You place in front of each one of us. Lead us through this process helping us become a stronger family than we have ever been. In Psalm 117:2 we are told For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Thank you Lord In Jesus Name amen

To gain righteousness all we need is faith Romans 1 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” In the bible it explains that through faith and not good works or the law that we are saved because Christ took our sins on the cross. Galatians 3 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Always remember believe, have faith, that is what he wants and you can never love too much!

Faith to Move Mountains

Dear Heavenly Father, all of the turmoil and trials that I have seem like the biggest and steepest mountain, it appears to be like an impossible journey to undertake. Lord, just take these overwhelming adversities and throw them into the sea. I know that when I give all to You that it will be resolved and taken care of. Thank You Lord In Jesus Name Amen.

 

“Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Mark 11:22-24

Gift of God Through Faith

Dear Heavenly Father I do not deserve the grace you have shown me, I have done things in my life that were not in a way that is favorable to you. Yet Lord I thank You because You have still shown me mercy and favor. The gift that was given is beyond comprehension. The only boasting I can do is to boast about the unfettered mercy that has overwhelmingly been poured over me. Thank you Lord! In Jesus Name Amen

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Dear Heavenly Father; I know that there are going to be things that I do not understand and issues that I think are not I know better. Lord give me the perseverance and understanding to see past my feelings and see what is in Your heart. Have patience with me while I learn to share the heart You have, the compassion, ultimate understanding and forgiveness so I can become more like You. In Jesus Name Amen

On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?” Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?  Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. Be Calm

Dear Heavenly Father, You have given me so much in my life making so that I have nothing to worry about, when I stop and reminisce there are memories of all the great times that You have been there. When I have needed you the answer has been with comfort, protection and calm. You have always prepared the way for me. Thank you Lord for the peace you have shown throughout the storms. The Battle Within

Dear Heavenly Father, every day I struggle with the turmoil and fear of what is to come. I struggle daily while polishing my ego, fighting myself, thinking I always need more and never being satisfied with what You have given me. I am thankful for the gifts You have provided but I always want more. Please guide me Lord in the direction that You have established for me in Proverbs 16:9 we are told that In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Lord guide my steps down the path that You have laid down for me. In Jesus Name Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, as I walk through these trials that have come in front of the path that I travel. Through your word I thank you for reminding me that though I do not enjoy these road blocks, please help me use them as examples to help others for a key to glorify your name. In Jesus Name Amen
