Dear Heavenly Father, show me the right path I need to travel today so that I will not be deceived by all of the road blocks that I will face throughout my day. Shine your light on the path that you have planned for me so that I do not get lost in the darkness. In Jesus Name Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, protect me throughout this day driving out anything evil that stands in front of me, clear the way so that I my have an unobstructed path Lord. Why do we say we are like Jesus? We say we follow him and yet we do not love how he loves. We say we give but we do not give how he gives. We let fear and ego determine what our path is, he said that if we take his hand he will lead us. He said that when he is knocking if you answer the door he will come in and sit down with you. Jesus led by example. Time and time again he tells us what he wants us to do when you read the bible it is a road map and when you ask he will guide to what part of the map you need. It shows you how to love the way he loves, how to give the way he gives, and it will guide you on the path he wants you to walk.

Dear Heavenly Father, as I get to know you more and more please help me to not become polluted with all of the distractions around me on a daily basis. I want to follow your true and pure path, the one that you intend for my life, as these troubles are thrown my way please help me to understand if they are truly to help me or if they are ways for the enemy to distract me from your purpose. Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to show humility in all situations, to throw out my pride and to know that I can depend on you in every circumstance I face. Dear Heavenly Father, I need to be transformed Lord. Help me to come out of all of the normality’s of this world so that I can understand you. Through his love he sends you help through the holy spirit and his angels Hebrews 1 14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? He loves us so much that he gave his only son so that we will be saved John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned
Dear Heavenly Father, fill me with your love and grace, thank you for the gifts that you have given me and through you your knowledge and understanding. This helps me to face my day not fearing what is around the next corner. Thank you God for whom you are and being the best friend that anyone could ask for. In Jesus Name Amen

This morning God put on my heart to share what he wants. People ask how should I believe, what should I follow, or what is real. The bible puts it best: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. If you want to know what you should do, sit down pray for guidance and pick up the bible. When you pray for guidance he will share with you what he wants you to do, how he wants you to do it, and when.
Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Romans 8: 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He wants to help you when you are in times of need, he wants to comfort you when you feel down, and he wants to be there when you need someone to lean on. I hear a lot say that the bible was wrote thousands of years ago how is it significant to the time we live in now. Fact is that we are human beings and our human nature never changes. Sure they did not have an iPad, the latest kindle, or the best smart phone but they still had to deal with being afraid, wondering how they would live, and what others thought of them. That has never changed we are humans, Jesus came to earth so he could be an example for us. He showed us that it is possible even when we think it is impossible. HE UNDERSTANDS! Hebrews 2 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Drink of Jesus
