Freedom from Fear and Dread- Joyce Meyer

Do not permit yourself to be afraid!

Dear Heavenly Father; Psalm 145:1-3 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.  In Jesus Name Amen

Hear me O Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father; Psalm 4:1Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer. In Jesus Name Amen

God is in control of EVERYTHING

Romans 13 1-2 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Nothing but Faith

Dear Heavenly Father I can not over state how great you are to me thank you Lord!

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only Faith working through love.

Happy New Year 2017

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another year! As I walk through the year ahead I will try to always remember that if I have any questions or uncertainty that I can look to you Lord. I will, throughout this year, work to make You more of me and me less of this world. In Jesus Name Amen

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Philippians 3:12-16

For the Love of Money

For the Love of MoneyMoney

Matthew 19:1-30 In this example Jesus was approached by a young man who asked how he could make it to heaven. The man was well to do and he had a lot of money. This example that is used can be used in many facets of our lives. When we make something more important than God we are telling Him that He is not as important to us as this item we hold so high. This is a form of idolatry, this example is not an instance that says we will not be accepted or that Jesus is not our savior. There are some that reference verses 16-17 and say this is Jesus saying we will never be good enough to make it to heaven. Let’s read the whole example to see what it says:

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” 17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?”  Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 “Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother, and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.”20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. 23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

It expresses the importance of making God your world, your purpose and motivation. Jesus Christ is the one true God. Do not put other “stuff” before Him.   John 14: 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Walk through the Fire

The Great I Am

Bible blame

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. James 1:12-14

2 Kings 6:16 “Stop being afraid, because there are more with us than with them!”

Through Faith god has given us a path to eternal life; it is all we need to know Jesus Christ John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. If you believe Matthew 21 22 If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray,” God sacrificed his one and only son to forgive our sins then when you have faith Matthew 21 21 Jesus replied, “What I’m about to tell you is true. You must have faith and not doubt this is all God wants us to have to be one of his children.

In the Dictionary Faith is quoted as: a strong belief or trust in someone or something

There are many stories in the bible where Jesus healed and took care of people because they had unconditional faith in him Matthew 9 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed (disabled) man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”6 he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. In Luke by Jesus just seeing faithfulness he forgave Luke 5 20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Yet another story just by a touch a women who had a disorder that had made her bleed for 12 years was healed just by a touch because of her faith Luke 8 43 A woman was there who had a sickness that made her bleed. Her sickness had lasted for 12 years. No one could heal her. 44 She came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his clothes. Right away her bleeding stopped. 45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everyone said they didn’t do it. Then Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pushing against you.”46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me. I know that power has gone out from me.”47 The woman realized that people would notice her. Shaking with fear, she came and fell at his feet. In front of everyone, she told why she had touched him. She also told how she had been healed in an instant. 48 Then he said to her, “Dear woman, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” To gain righteousness all we need is faith Romans 1 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” In the bible it explains that through faith and not good works or the law that we are saved because Christ took our sins on the cross. Galatians 3 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Always remember believe, have faith, that is what he wants and you can never love too much!

Yes he loves you!

He Will Never Forgive Me!

I have talked with so many friends and people who have told me many times “I have done too many bad things there is no hope for me”. Did you know that God loves you and wants to know you more! He will forgive you and help you to know him better. One of the best explanations I ever heard; What would you do for your children? I know I would do anything! God is our Father, our Dad so what do you think he would do for you as one of his children?

One of the most powerful stories in the bible will show you yes you can.

  • Acts 9:1-19 (NIV)
  • 9 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” 7 The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. 8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. 9 For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything. 10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord,” he answered.11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.” 13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.” 15 But the Lord said to Ananias, Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” 17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength.

Who was Saul?  Acts 13:9 9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul.
